- 1987: Forerunner Central Transportation Service Company was established;
- 2002: Converted to a joint stock company with the charter capital of VND 7.23 billion;
- 2006: VFC operated as a corporation. The company established 5 subsidiaries and other joint venture companies and the Company listed its shares on HOSE;
- 2011: The chartered capital is VND 200 billion;
- 2013: Delisted from HOSE and registered to be listed on UPCoM.
