- 12 May 1990: Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM) was established with the State's capital of VND 110 billion under the Decision No.153-HDBT issued by the Ministerial Council (now the Government of Vietnam);
- 1991: Mekong Auto Co.,Ltd was established as the first automobile manufacturing and assembly joint venture in Vietnam;
- 1993: Kumba Industry Co.,Ltd was established;
- 1995: Toyota Vietnam Company (TMV), Vietnam Suzuki Corporation (Visuco), Japan-Vietnam Engineering Company (J.V.E) and Ford Vietnam Ltd were established;
- 1996: Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) was established;
- 1995: Re-established with the State's capital of VND 210 billion;
- 18 July 2005: Construction of VEAM Automobile Factory was commenced;
- 2007: Reached a revenue of VND 2,500 billion;
- 2008: Reached a revenue of over VND 5,000 billion;
- 2009: The first truck with the brand VEAM MOTOR was manufactured and put into the market;
- 2010: Transformed the operation model from the State-owned Corporation into Parent Company-Subsidiaries, in which Parent Company- VEAM is a limited company with 100% capital funded by the State;
- 29 August 2016: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) with average winning bid of VND14,291 per share;
- 24 January 2017: Transformed into Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation – Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of VND13,288,000,000,000 under the business registration certificate No.0100103866 amended for the 7th time by Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment;
- 05 September 2017: Became a public company under the Document No.5972/UBCK-GSDC issued by the State Securities Commision of Vietnam;
- 02 July 2018: Traded on the UPCOM market;
