- 29 November 1990: Can Tho Urban Joint Stock Company (UCT), formerly known as a State Administrative Unit, was established through merging of Hygiene and funeral Company, Public Lighting Company, Bridge Road Maintaining Unit, Green Trees and Park Team under the Decision No.65.QD.TC.TP90 by (Old) Can Tho City People's Committee;
- 05 February 1994: (Old) Can Tho Provincial People's Committee issued the Decision No.300/QD.UBT.94 on establishing Can Tho City Urban Works State-owned Enterprise with a capital of VND682 million;
- 10 April 1997: Can Tho City People's Committee issued the Decision No.842/QD.CLTCCB.97 on establishing Can Tho City Urban Works Company with an initial charter capital of VND5,496,941,900;
- 11 September 2001: Can Tho City People's Committee issued the Decision No.2581/QD-CT-UB on transferring Can Tho City Urban Works Company to Can Tho Department of Construction for its management;
- 2004: With charter capital raised up to VND12,662,684,969, Can Tho City Urban Works Company was transferred from Can Tho Department of Construction to Can Tho Department of Public Works;
- 2007: Charter capital was raised up to VND20,170,522,565;
- 2008: Can Tho City Urban Works Company was retransferred to Can Tho Department of Construction for its management;
- 02 July 2010: Can Tho City People's Committee issued the Decision No.1741/QD-UBND on approval of the plan, charter and renaming Can Tho City Urban Works Company into Can Tho City Urban Works One-member Limited Company with a charter capital of VND60,264,015,048;
- 06 March 2013: Can Tho City People's Committee issued the Decision No.547/QD-UBND on establishing a Steering Board for equitizing Can Tho City Urban Works One-member Limited Company;
- 25 May 2015: IPO was launched at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) with an offered volume of 2,260,000 shares and an average winning bid of VND10,000 per share;
- 26 June 2015: The shareholders' meeting was held to establish Can Tho Urban Joint Stock Company;
- 03 July 2015: Put into operation under a joint stock company model with a charter capital of VND54,249,000,000;
- Since 15 November 2016: Traded on the UPCOM market;
