- 20 June 1966: Vietnam Plastic Company (Simiplast) was established;
- 13 January 1977: The State took over and renamed Simiplast as Tan Tien Plastic Factory unde the Decision No.45/CNn/TCQL issued by Minister of Light Industry;
- November 1991: Tan Tien Plastic Factory was splitted into Van Don Plastic Factory and Tan Tien Plastic Factory;
- 29 April 1994: Tan Tien Plastic Factory was renamed as Tan Tien Plastic Packaging Company under the Decision No.449/QD-TCLD issued by Minister of Light Industry;
- 23 October 2002: Minister of Light Industry issued the Decision No.624/QD-TCCB on equitizing Tan Tien Plastic Packaging Company;
- 28 December 2004: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company;
- 2006: Listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE);
- 10 October 2006: Increased the charter capital to VND106.55;
- 07 May 2007: Increased the charter capital to VND150 billion;
- 2012: The State divested its entire capital from the Company;
- October 2015: Dongwon System Corporation (Korea) became a large holder of the Company;
- 15 October 2015: Delisted from Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE);
- 15 March 2017: Traded on the UPCOM market;
