- 26 June 1978: Seaproducts Import and Export Company was established under the Decision No.155/CP issued by the Prime Minister;

- 07 March 1994: Became Seaproducts Import and Export Corporation under the Decision No.90/TTg issued by the Prime Minister;

- 17 November 2003: Put into operation under the model of Parent Company-Subsidiaries under the Decision No.243/2003/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister;

- 2010: Renamed as Viet Nam Seaproducts One-member Limited Corporation with a charter capital of VND531 billion;

- 14 March 2011: Viet Nam Seaproducts Corporation  was re-established with a charter capital of VND839 billion through merging of Viet Nam Seaproducts Corporation, Bien Dong Seaproducts Corporation and Ha Long Seaproducts Corporation under the Decision No.456/QD-BNN-DDMDN issued by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

- 17 October 2014: The Prime Minister issued the Decision No.1880/QD-TTG on approving the plan of equitizing Parent Company-Viet Nam Seaproducts Joint Stock Corporation;

- 12 December 2014: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched with an offered quanity of 60,826,400 shares and average winning bid of VND10,100 per share;

- 23 March 2015: Shareholders' meeting was held successfully for the first time;

- 17 April 2015: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND 1,250;

- 08 June 2015: Became a public company under the Document No.2893/UBCK-QLPH issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam;

- 23 December 2016: Traded on UPCOM market;
