- 25 November 2004: Song Da 7.02 Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company was established with an initial charter capital of VND05 billion under the business registration certificate No.2503000047 issued for the first time by Hoa Binh Department of Planning and Investment;

- 2009: Headquarter was moved from Hoa Binh to Lai Chau, merged with Nam Thi Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company to become Nam Thi - Song Da 7 Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company with the charter capital up to VND21,056,666,658 under the business registration certificate No.5400232452 issued by Lai Chau Department of Planning and Investment;

- 02 June 2010: Became a public company under the Document No.1611/UBCK-QLPH issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam;

- 10 October 2017: Charter capital was raised up to VND120 billion;
