- 03 March1956:  Machine Import and Export Corporation was established;

- 03 March 1960: Equipment & Spare Parts Corporation was established;

- 02 March 1992: Machine and Spare Parts Corporation was established through merging of  Machine Import and Export Corporation, and  Equipment and Spare Parts Corporation;

- 17 April 1995:  Machine and Spare Parts Corporation was re-established; 

- 13 June 2003: Machine and Equipment Company was established through restructuring the office of the Corporation and its dependent accounting units;

- 08 August 2005: The Company operates under a model of parent company - subsidiary;

- 10 March 2009:  Machine and Equipment Company became a member of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam);

- 21 October 2009: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched successfully at Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) with an offered quantity of 5,640,890 shares and an average winning bid of  VND10,509 per share;

- 09 February 2010: Shareholders' meeting was held for the first time to establish Petrovietnam Machinery-Technology Joint Stock Company (PV MACHINO);

- 01 March 2010: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND386,386,000,000 under the business registration certificate No.0101394512 issued by Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment;

- 12 July 2010: Became a public company under the Document No.2136/UBCK-QLPH issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam;

- July 2010: Became a member of Petrovietnam Construction Corporation (PVC);

- May 2011: Became a member of Petrovietnam Energy Technological Corporation (PV EIC);

- November 2014: Became a member of Petrovietnam Power Corporation (PV Power);

- 20 December 2016: Traded on the UPCOM market;
