- 13/11/1993: Dong Thap Muoi Rural Joint Stock Bank officially started operation under Business License No. 0045/NH-GP granted by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
- 7/2005: Vietnam National Petroleum (Petrolimex) and Saigon Security Incorporation (SSI) officially became major shareholders of the Bank.
- 12/01/2007: The Bank was permitted to convert into an urban joint stock bank under Decision No. 125 QD-NHNN.
- 08/02/2007: The Bank officially changed name to Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PG Bank) in accordance with Decision No. 368/ GD-NHNN by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
- 10/10/2007: Increased the charter capital to VND500 billion
- 19/12/2008: Increased the charter capital to VND1,000 billion.
- December 18, 2009: Approved to become a public company.
- 22/03/2010: Successfully issuing 1000 billion of convertible bond
- 31/12/2010: Increased the charter capital to VND 2,000 billion
- 02/08/2012: Increased the charter capital to VND 3,000 billion
- December 24, 2020: Traded on the UPCOM market.
