- January 1956: Gia Lam District Trading Co-operative Management Unit was established;
- 1979: Gia Lam General Food Technology Retail Company under Gia Lam District People's Commitee was established through being split from Gia Lam District Trading Co-operative Management Unit;
- December 1992: Renamed as Gia Lam General Commercial Trading Company - a State-owned Company under Gia Lam District People's Committee;
- January 2000: Transferred from Gia Lam District People's Committee to Hanoi Department of Trade for its management;
- 26 September 2003: Hanoi City People's Committee issued the Decision No. 5710/QD - UB on transforming Gia Lam General Commercial Trading Company into Long Bien Joint Stock Company;
- 05 November 2003: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND10.9 billion;
- 2006: Rehabilitating and upgrading Trau Quy General Trading Shop into Hapromart supermarket No.2 Ngo Xuan Quang with an area of 2,000m2;
- 2007: Constructed a supermarket on No.622 Ngo Gia Tu with an area of 680m2, rehabilitated and upgraded Sai Gon General Trading Shop and Yen Vien General Trading Shop into Hapromart Sai Dong supermarket with an area of 1,000m2 and Hapromart supermarket on No.176 Ha Huy Tap with an area of 630m2;
- 2008: Cooperating with Petrolimex Region I Company to open Hapromart Supermarket on No.26 Duc Giang with an area of 380m2;
- 2011: Hapromart Viet Hung supermarket with an area of 1,450m2 was opened;
- 06 July 2017: Became a public company under the Document No.4569/UBCK-GSDC issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam;
- 16 August 2017: Traded on UPCOM market;
- 18 December 2018: Charter capital was increased to VND15 billion;
