- 19 August 1992: Kien Giang Import & Export State-owned Company  was established in accordance with the Decision No.542/UB-QD issued by Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee;

- April 1994: Kien Giang Food Company was merged into Kien Giang Import & Export Company;

- 25 November 1995: Vietnam Southern Food Corporation issued the Decision No. 071/TCT/TCLD - QD on taking over Kien Giang Import & Export State-owned Company;

- 31 May 2005: Transformed into Kien Giang Import & Export Co.,Ltd in accordance with the Decision No. 123/2005/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister;

- 08 June 2016: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange t?i (HOSE) with average winning bid of VND10,001 per share;

- 01 July 2016: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND254,3 billion under the business registration certificate No.1700100989 amended for the 19th time by Kien Giang Department of Planning and Investment;

- 01 July 2016: Became a public company under the document No.1789/UBCK-GSDC issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam;

- 21 September 2017: Traded on UPCOM;
