- Apr 7, 1978: A construction contract between TECHNO - IMPORT VIETNAM and UNIONMATEX (Germany) was signed to build the spinning mill;
- February 1979: The construction project was started;
- Nov 21, 1984: Hanoi spinning mill was officially established;
- Apr 30, 1991: Hanoi Spinning Mill was transformed into Hanoi Spinning Knitting Enterprise with abbreviation as HANOSIMEX;
- Jun 19, 1995: Hanoi Spinning Knitting Enterprise was renamed to Hanoi Textile Company;
- Feb 28, 2000: Hanoi Textile company was renamed to Hanoi Textile Garment company;
- From 2000 to 2005: The Company was ever-developing in the trend of international economic integration, company reorganized and expanded the business activities;
- From 2005 tp now: The company has been focusing on re-organizing as a holding company and privatizing its company members;
- December 2007: Carried AGM to implement innovative business undertaking of the Government and converted into Hanoi textile and garment joint stock corporation (State holds 57% of charter capital), put into operations since Jan 1, 2008;
- November 03, 2010: Became a public company;
- May 2013: Hanoi textile and garment joint stock corporation including 13 member units with annual capacity of approximately: Fiber types: 21.000 tons per year (twine: 1.300 tons); Fabrics: 2.600 tons; Clothing knitting: 13 million products per year; Towels: 13 million (equal to 2000 tons per year);
- April 19, 2018: Traded on the UPCOM market;
