- 01 April 1971: The Pharmaceutical Corporation, was established by merging 3 Departments under the Ministry of Health, which are Department for Pharmaceutical distribution, Herbal Materials Department, and Manufacture Department in accordance with the Decision No.169/BYT-QD issued by Minister of Health;

- 1982: The Pharmaceutical Corporation was renamed as the Union of Vietnam Pharmaceutical Factories;

- March 1996: The Union of Vietnam Pharmaceutical Factories was transformed into Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation in accordance with the Decision issued by Minister of Health;

- 30 June 2010: Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation was transformed into  State-owned one member limited company in the form of Parent Company -Subsidiary in accordance with the Decision issued by Minister of Health;

- 22 June 2016: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) with an offered quantity of 42,557,000 shares and average winning bid of VND10,443 per share;

- 08 December 2016: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND2,370 billion;

- 17 February 2017: Became a public company under the Document No.86/UBCK-GSDC issued by the State Securities Commision of Vietnam;

- 19 May 2017: Traded on UPCOM market;
