- August 29, 1977: Quang Ninh Port was established under the Decision No.2226 QD/TC issued by Ministry of Transport;
- August 30, 2007: Transformed into Quang Ninh Port Limited Company under the Decision No.2681/QD-BGTVT issued by Ministry of Transport;
- May 23, 2014: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) at an average winning bid of VND11,001 per share;
- August 22, 2014: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND500,499,360,000 under the business registration certificate No.5700100231 issued for the first time by Quang Ninh Department of Planning and Investment;
- December 25, 2014: Became a public company under the Document No.7144/UBCK-QLPH issed by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC);
- April 2015: Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) transferred 49,060,387 shares of Quang Ninh Port Joint Stock Company to T&T Group Joint Stock Company;
- August 18, 2020: Traded on the UPCOM market;
- December 31, 2020: Increased charter capital 750,49 billion;
