- 2007:  CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company was established with the initial charter capital of VND19.2 billion.

- 2008: The company increased its charter capital to VND67.2 billion with the capital contribution of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) and PVGas D.

- 2009: PV Gas transfered its shareholding in CNG Vietnam to PetroVietnam Southern Gas Joint Stock Company (PV Gas South).

- 2010: The company raised the charter capital to VND125 billion.

- 2011: The company raised the charter capital to VND203 billion and listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE).

- 2012: The company raised its chartered capital to VND213.28 billion.

- 2013: The company raised the charter capital to VND270 billion.
