- 26 January 1993: Ho Chi Minh City Public Lighting Company was established under the Decision No.37/QD-UB issued by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee;

- 11 July 1997: Transformed into a public service State-owned company under the Decision No.3544/QD-UB-KT-CN issued by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee;

- 09 January 2010: Put into operation under the model of one-member limited company under the Decision No.82/QD-UBND issued by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee;

- 06 September 2012: Became a member under Ho Chi Minh Finance adn Investment State-owned Company under the Decision No.4608/QD-UBND issued by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee;

- 10 December 2015: Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued the Decision No.6770/QD-UBND on approving the plan of equitizing and transforming Ho Chi Minh City Public Lighting One-member Limited Company into Ho Chi Minh City Public Lighting Joint Stock Company;

- 19 February 2016: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) with an average winning bid of VND13,822 per share;

- 19 May 2016: Shareholders' meeting was held for the first time to establish Ho Chi Minh City Public Lighting Joint Stock Company;

- 01 July 2016: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND284 billion under the business registration certificate No.0300423479 amended for the fifth time by Ho Chi Minh Department of Planning and Investment;

- 01 September 2016: Became a public company under the Document No.5879/UBCK-GSDC issued by the State Securities Commision of Vietnam;

- 12 January 2017: Traded on the UPCOM market;
