- 1987: Opened Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh international transport route;
- December 03, 1992: Renamed as Saigon Passenger Transport Company under the Decision No.158/QDUB issued by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee;
- March 22, 2006: Renamed as Saigon Passenger Transport Co., Ltd under the Decision No.1264/QD-UBND issued by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee;
- December 31, 2015: Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued Decision No.7164/QD-UBND on the approval of equitizing and transforming Saigon Passenger Transport Co., Ltd into Saigon Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company;
- March 08, 2016: The Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) with an offered quantity of 5,757,100 shares, equivalent to 9.60% of its charter capital with an average winning bid of VND10,200 per share;
- July 28, 2016: Shareholders' meeting was held to establish Saigon Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company;
- August 19, 2016: Put into operation under a joint-stock company model with a charter capital of VND600 billion;
- November 21, 2016: Traded on UPCOM market;
