UDC: UDC shares likely to be delisted

On February 02, 2023, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) issued a document announcing the possibility of delisting for the shares of Urban Development and Construction Corporation (HOSE: UDC) due to the profit after tax of the parent company’s shareholders in 2020 was -9.99 billion dongs and 2021 was -23.430 billion dongs according to the audited consolidated financial statements in 2020 and 2021. In addition, the Company’s profit after tax of parent company’s shareholders in 2022 was -39.503 billion dongs and the undistributed profit after tax (accumulated losses) until 12/31/2022 was -72.235 billion dongs according to the consolidated financial statements in Quarter 4.2022. Because Urban Development and Construction Corporation has suffered a loss in business results for 3 consecutive years 2020, 2021 and 2022, so the shares of Urban Development and Construction Corporation are likely to be delisted if the audited financial statements in 2022 continue to have the business result is negative.
