SMC: Approved the stock issuance to pay dividends for 2021 The Board resolution dated November 08, 2021, the BOD of SMC Trading Investment Joint Stock Company approved the following issues:
1) Approving to implement the first stock dividend payment in 2021:
- Stock name: SMC Trading Investment Joint Stock Company
- Par value: VND10,000/share
- Number of shares issued: 60,994,691 shares
- Number of outstanding voting shares: 60,922,941 shares
- Number of treasury shares: 71,750 shares
- Number of shares expected to be issued: 3,046,147 shares
- Issuance ratio: 5.00%.
- Exercise ratio: 20:1 (Those who own 20 shares will receive 01 new share).
2) Approving the handle plan for the fractional shares (if any):
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares (if any) will be cancelled.
For example: at the record date, shareholder A owned 202 shares. With 20:1 performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 202 *1/20 =10.10 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 10 new shares and fractional shares of 0.10 will be cancelled. HOSE
