NBB: Record date for using treasury shares to distribute to existing shareholders On October 19, 2020, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Announcement No.1822/TB-SGDHCM about the record date of 577 Investment Corporation as follows:
- Ex-right date: November 02, 2021
- Record date: November 03, 2021
1) Reason & Purpose: to use treasury shares to distribute to existing shareholders.
2) Content:
- Exercise ratio: 25:7 (shareholder who owns 25 shares will receive 07 new shares.)
- Expected issue volume: 21,909,977 shares
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares will sell VND10,000/share for the Chief Executive Officer (less than 500,000 shares).
- For example: at the record date, shareholder A owned 10 shares. With 25:7 performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 10*7/25 =2.80 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 02 new shares and the fractional shares of 0.80 will be sold VND10,000/share for the Chief Executive Officer.
- Place of payment:
+ Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
