SKG: Resolution on building ships for Rach Gia – Phu Quoc Route

According to the Board resolution dated February 06, 2018, the Board of Directors of Superdong Fast Ferry Kien Giang JSC approved the contents of contract to build a ship for Rach Gia – Phu Quoc Route, as follows:

1)    Shipbuilder: Kaibuok Shipyard (M) SDN.BHD

-          Address: No.20, 1^st Floor, Tan Sri Road, 96000 Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia

2)    Contract value and payment time:

-          Value of contract: about US$2,650,000

-          Payment time: divided into 04 phases according to the progress of ship building

• Phase 1: 25% of total value of contract
• Phase 2: 25% of total value of contract
• Phase 3: 25% of total value of contract
• Phase 4: 25% of total value of contract

3)    Information on the ship:

-          Speed: 20.5 nautical miles/hour

-          Maximum length: 54.00 meters

-          Maximum width: 14.70 meters

-          Capacity: 354 seats, motorcycle, cars from 4 to 29 seats, trucks with the load less than 5.5 tons.

4)    Place of delivery: Sibu Port, Sarawak, Malaysia

5)    Date of delivery: by July 30, 2018

6)    Time of warranty: 12 months from the date of delivery.

The Board of Directors approved to choose Kaibuok Shipyard (M) SDN.BHD as a strategic partner to upgrade Superdong fleet.
