CII: Bond conversion of GS and HFIC

On January 26, 2016, Hochiminh City Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (CII) received an announcement about the bond conversion into shares from the investors managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GS) and HoChiMinh City Finance and Investment State-owned Company (HFIC). The total value of conversion was VND603 billion.  

On the same day, CII also received confirmation from Metro Pacific Tollway Corporation (MPTC) regarding the swap of VND1,020-billion bonds for 56,666,666 shares of CII B&R.

Therefore, the total debts of CII decreased VND1,623 billion. This helped the ratio of debt to equity of the parent company to decrease below 01 in 2016.
