IDJ: Explanation for the loss in 2013, 2014 and the solution On 01/09/2015, IDJ Vietnam
Investment Joint Stock Company explained the reason for the loss in 2013, 2014
and issued the solution as follows:
1. The reasons for the loss:
- The direct impacts from
lengthening economic crisis, high inflation, banking interest rate and tighten
credit policy: the Company must close Grand Plaza at the end of 2012 – one of
main activities of the Company.
- In 2013, 2014, Grand Plaza still
closed in order to the method of restructuring, restarting in accordance with
the factual situation and demand while the Company sill paid costs.
- In order to crease the cash flow
for the investment plan in next year, the Company must transfer some
investments items with the transferring price lower than initial value of these
investment items
- Extracting the provision in order
to ensure the financial principles.
- The subsidiary still not operated
while paying fixed costs
2. The solutions:
- Focusing on improving investment
capacity, looking for good investment projects
- Looking for the partners who have
financial capacity
- Transferring the project with low
efficiency
- Promoting marketing, advertising
activities, restarting Grand Plaza
- Strictly controlling business
cost
- Strengthening training work,
