Manulife honoured at million dollar round table
Manulife Vietnam’s membership of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table rose by 25 per cent year-on-year in 2014, according to a statement by the company.
Recognised as the global financial industry benchmark for the highest levels of professionalism, productivity, and client service, the Million Dollar Round Table, or MDRT, represents the elite of financial services professionals from around the world.
Manulife Vietnam’s vice president and general manager Paul Nguyen said Manulife was one of the biggest MDRT members in Vietnam’s life insurance industry.
“This fantastic achievement is due to the efforts we make to put the client at the centre of everything we do,” Nguyen said in a statement.
In 2014, the Manulife Group’s MDRT membership grew by 22 per cent from the year before, almost double the figure recorded in 2011.
“The MDRT has never been more important to Manulife. Last year, for the first time, more than 1,000 Manulife advisors across Asia qualified for the MDRT. Our advisors in Vietnam worked hard and succeeded in helping our clients with their big financial decisions,” said Robert Cook, president and CEO of Manulife Asia.
As a sign of its commitment to MDRT, Manulife, a leading Canada-based financial services group, will host the exclusive Manulife MDRT PEAK Convention, its biggest agency distribution event ever globally, which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from February 28 to March 3. Approximately 2,000 Manulife advisors and executives from across Asia will head to the education convention, which is dedicated to building the skills and knowledge of the company’s high-performing advisors.
