FPT to distribute Genius mobile accessories in Vietnam

FPT Trading has signed distribution contract with Kye group, a manufacturer of computer accessories and multimedia devices.

Under the terms of the agreement, all products labeled Genius in Vietnamese market will be distributed by FPT Trading. FPT Trading will focus on developing wireless devices and mobile accessories of Genius such as bluetooth headsets, portable speaker, leather tablet case, backup battery for smartphones etc.

Kye’s brand name Genius was founded in 1983 with headquarters in Taiwan and branches in the US, UK, Germany, Hong Kong and China. The company currently has over 3,000 employees worldwide. Kye reported sales of USD 300 million in 2005 and USD 424 million in 2006 (excluding foreign subsidiaries).
