TYA’s profit after tax in Quarter 2/2014 was
about VND9.32 billion, increasing VND8.29 billion or +810% compared to the same
period of last year, mainly because its revenue in Quarter 2/2014 rose 15.4% thanks
to the stability of prices of copper raw material in Quarter 1 and 2/2014
leading the cost of goods sold drop and the gross profit and the profit after
tax increase. -
The average price of copper on LME market in
Quarter 2/2014 was about US$6,786.93/ton.
