TDH: Explanation for the business result in Quarter 4/2013

Thu Duc Housing Development Corporation (THUDUC HOUSE) explained the business result in Quarter 4/2013 as follows:

1. Business result in Quarter 4/2013 of parent company

Net revenue in Quarter 4/2013 was VND55.4billion, increasing compared to the same period of 2012 (Net revenue in Quarter 4/2012 was -VND3.79billion). Gross profit in Quarter 4/2013 was VND42.04billion, increasing compared to the same period of 2012 (Gross profit in Quarter 4/2012 was VND3.01billion). Profit after tax was VND16.96 billion, increasing VND2.05 billion (13.8%) compared to Quarter 4/2012.

Reasons:

-          Net revenue from sales and services in Quarter 4/2013 increased strongly mainly because revenue from real estate business and cost of goods sold decreased.

-          Besides, General and administration expense decreased 28.3% compared to the same period of 2012.

-          Net revenue in 2013 was VND256.03 billion, increasing 275.8% compared to in 2012. Profit after tax in 2013 was VND4.83 billion, decreasing 75.1% compared to in 2012.

Net revenue in Quarter 4/2013 was VND125.50billion, increasing compared to the same period of 2012 (Net revenue in Quarter 4/2012 was –VND26.47billion). Gross profit in Quarter 4/2013 was VND49.92billion, increasing 715% compared to the same period of 2012. Profit after tax was VND20.68 billion, decreasing 29% compared to Quarter 4/2012. Profit after tax of the parent company’s shareholders was VND21.31 billion, decreasing 29%

Reasons:

-          Financial income decreased from VND50.72 billion in Quarter 4/2012 to VND1.35 billion in Quarter 4/2013, decreasing VND49.38 billion or 97.3%.

-          Financial expense increased from VND15.240 billion in Quarter 4/2012 to VND16.45 billion in Quarter 4/2013, increasing VND1.21 billion or 8%.

-          Other profit decreased from VND2.71 billion in Quarter 4/2012 to VND162.34 million in Quarter 4/2013, decreasing VND2.54 billion or 94%.

-          General and administration expense decreased from VND16.41 billion in Quarter 4/2012 to VND14.9 billion in Quarter 4/2013, decreasing 9.1%.

 

-          In 2013, consolidated net revenue was VND409.48 billion, increasing 104.8% compared to in 2012. Profit after tax in 2013 was VND27.05 billion, Profit after tax of the parent company’s shareholders was VND29.27 billion, decreasing10.7% compared to in 2012.
