AAM: The record date for the 2013 extraordinary meeting of shareholders and dividend payment
HOSE announces the record date for the 2013 extraordinary meeting of shareholders, the second dividend payment of 2012 in cash and the dividend payment in stock of Mekong Fisheries Joint Stock Company:
- Stock symbol: AAM
- Ex-right date: July 10, 2013
- Record date: July 12, 2013
- Purpose: to hold the 2013 extraordinary meeting of shareholders
to pay the second dividend of 2012 in cash to the existing shareholders
to pay dividend in stock to existing shareholders
1. To hold the 2013 extraordinary meeting of shareholders:
- Meeting date: September 19, 2013
- Meeting venue: Head office of Group 24 Tra Noc Industrial park, Tra Noc Ward, Binh Thuy Dist., Can Tho City.
- Meeting content: Approving to amend the company’s regulation
2. To pay the second dividend in cash:
- Dividend pay-out ratio: 5% (VND500/share)
- Payment date: September 19, 2013
Place of implementation:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at Mekong Fisheries Joint Stock Company and please submit ID cards.
3. To pay dividend in stock to existing shareholders:
- Exercise ratio: 100:15 (the one who owns 100 shares at the record date will receive 15 new shares).
- Issue volume: 1,295,979 shares.
- Plan to deal with fractional shares:
The distributed shares will be rounded to units. The fractional shares will be paid in cash at VND10,000/share.
For example, if shareholder A owns 150 shares at the record date. He will receive: (150/100*15)=22.5 shares. However, he will receive 22 new shares and in cash 5,000= 0.5*10,000)
