SMC: SMC supplies steel to Formosa project

SMC Investment Trading Joint Stock Company (SMC) announced the supply of steel to Formosa (Ha Tinh) project as follows:

-         On November 19, 2012, SMC Investment Trading Joint Stock Company signed an agreement with Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. SMC will supply more than 100,000 tons of construction steel, especially SMC will supply up to 10,000 tons to Formosa project in this June.   

-         Besides, SMC also supply many types of construction, heated flat and shaped steel to sub-contractors of Formosa project.

-         According to the latest press release, Formosa project has been proposed to the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh province and the Government to increase its investment from US$9.9 billion to US$28.5 billion and become the largest foreign-invested project in Vietnam.
