CLP: Explanation for consolidated business result in Quarter 4/2012

Cuu Long Seaproducts Company explained the fluctuation in consolidated business result between Quarter 4/2012 and Quarter 4/2011:

Profit after tax (consolidated and parent company) in Quarter 4/2012 was less than in Quarter 4/2011 because:

Revenue in Quarter 4/2012 decreased 15% compared to in Quarter 4/2011.

Financial income in Quarter 4/2012 decreased 97% compared to in Quarter 4/2011.

Input expenses increased, while shrimp price in the world was low, making to shrimp prices from exporting decreased strongly from the beginning of the year. Besides, exchange rate fluctuations effecting to exporters.

Shrimp was exported to Japan, which was difficult.
