STB: Sacombank cooperates with Eximbank

On January 29, 2013, Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) and Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) signed a cooperation agreement. The two banks will cooperate in the development of services to borrowers in the form of co-financing or trust.

Sacombank and Eximbank will issue credits to support each other in terms of liquidity, foreign currency and gold trading activities. They will also research and consider a merger in three or five years in order to improve strength, expand market share and enhance competitiveness and business efficiency.
