VNM: Explanation for the financial statements in QII/2012 of parent company

Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (VINAMILK) explained more contents in the financial statements of parent company in Quarter II/2012 as follows:

-         Total profit after tax according to the financial statements in Quarter II/2012 increased 36.46% from Quarter II/2011 because of the following main reasons:

+         Operating profit increased because the Company’s sales rose 29.89% compared to the same period of last year. Besides, financial expenses went down 77.65% mainly because the company delayed the short – term and long – term financial provision.

+         Moreover, the Company has executed effective expense management and control programs, so the increases in selling expense and administrative expense were lower than the increase in net revenue in the same period.
