EID: Explanation for change in operating result in Quarter 3/2012

According to the Financial Statement Quarter III/2012, profit after tax increases by more than 10% year on year. On 01/11/2012 Thien Hanoi Education Development and Investment JSC explained the increase in operating result in Quarter III/2012 as follows:

- Beside the business of educational books, in the 2012, the company signed some contracts of Education Development Projects and reserved an amount of paper output for production and profit business. Therefore in Quarter III/2012, there was an increased revenue from paper compared to Quarter III/2011.

- According to Circular No. 140/2012/TT-BTC, the enterprise was discount 30% of enterprise income tax in 2012. Because the enterprise paid the discounted tax of Quarter I and Quarter II to the State budget so the enterprise would be discounted in the upcoming Quarters (Quarter III).

Because of the changes above, the profit after tax of Quarter III/2012 increased by 24.5% year on year.
