Trade with Cambodia increases by 17%
Trade between Cambodia and Viet Nam hit US$2.451 billion in the first nine months of this year, an increase of 17 per cent over the same period last year.
Viet Nam mainly exported oil and petrol, plastic products, garments and textile, confectionery, equipment, chemicals and steel. Goods imported included rubber, wood product and farm products.
Import-export turnover between the two countries is expected to reach more than $3 billion this year, an increase by 20 per cent over last year. Turnover is expected to climb to $5 billion in 2015.
