FDG: Explanation for consolidated business result in Q2/2012

Dongthap Trading Corporation (Docimexco) has explained the fluctuation in profit between Quarter 2/2012 and Quarter 2/2011 according to Docimexco’s financial statements (consolidated):

-         Loss after tax in Quarter 2/2011: VND3,522,512,140

-         Profit after tax in Quarter 2/2012: -VND21,039,132,279

-         Reason:

+         Revenue in Quarter 2/2012 was 60% of Quarter 2/2011,

+         Cost of goods sold in Quarter 2/2012 increased 96%, while in Quarter 2/2011 increased 92.6%.

+         Financial revenue in Quarter 2/2012 decreased strongly VND8.3 billion compare to the in Quarter 2/2011 (VND20.6 billion).
