SBA: Explanation for business result in Q2.2012

Song Ba Joint Stock Company explained the fluctuation in Quarter 2/2012 business result compared to Quarter 2/2011:

-         Electricity price of Khe Dien Hydropower Plant has been adjusted to an avoided cost since June 2011, so the selling electricity price of this plant in Quarter 2/2012 was applied as an avoided cost, while in Quarter 2/2011 this application just began in June. Besides, Krong H’nang Hydropower Plant applied seasonal selling price, so revenue and profit of the two plants were higher than ones in Quarter 2/2011:

+        Revenue in Khe Dien Hydropower Plant increased VND 3,946,614,955.

+        Revenue in Krong H’nang Hydropower Plant increased VND 6,334,919,550.

-         SBA’s financial expense in Quarter 2/2012 decreased VND 2,200,166,659 compared to Quarter 2/2011 because SBA paid a part of principal of credit agreements. This helped Quarter 2/2012 profit increase.
