KDC: The record date for a bonus share issuance

On August 06, 2012, HOSE announced the record date for a bonus share issuance of Kinh Do Corporation:

-         Stock symbol:   KDC

-         Stock type:         Common stock

-         Par value:          VND10,000                   

-         Ex-right date:    August 29, 2012    

-         Record date:    August 31, 2012

-         Purpose            Issuing bonus shares for existing shareholders

-         Exercise ratio:  20% (a shareholder owning 05 shares will get 01 bonus share)

-         The distributed shares will be rounded down. The fractional shares will be canceled.

For example, if shareholder A owns 244 shares at the record date, he will receive: 244x20/100 = 48.8 shares. However, because of rounding down, he will receive only 48 new shares and 0.8 shares will be canceled.

-         Capital source: capital surplus

-         All rights are not transferable.

-         All shares are transferable.

-         Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
