Jones Lang LaSalle manages Hanoi project

Property services provider Jones Lang LaSalle says VIB–NGT Company Limited has picked it to provide property management services for the CornerStone building in the capital city of Hanoi.

The firm says the new Grade A office development offers the market in Hanoi some 25,890 square meters, with large floor plates boasting 2,000 square meters of extra amenities and services.

Commenting on the office leasing segment in Hanoi, David Lyons, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle Vietnam, says the market is seeing an increase in demand for Grade A office space, with companies upgrading and relocating on the back of competitive rents and incentives from the property owners.

Lyons says with 150,000 square meters of office space to be added in the second half of the year, rents are expected to soften further. However, Grade A office buildings in the central business districts will remain resilient and are expected to report healthy occupancy levels and high asking rents.
