DAG: Explanation for business result in Quarter 2/2012 Dong A Plastic Group Joint – Stock Company explained the fluctuation in revenue and profit of Quarter 2/2012 compared to Quarter 2/2011:

Consolidated financial statements:
- Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter 2/2012 was
VND6,812,888,240 while profit in Quarter 2/2011 was VND897,575,598 because:
+ Revenue in
Quarter 2/2012 increased 225% because economic situation becomes clearer,
especial building materials market.
+ The borrowing
expense in Quarter 2/2012 was lower than in Quarter 2/2011 because of interest
rate went down, so financial expense decreased 5%. Besides, DAG’s
administrative expense in Quarter 2/2012 was saved 38% compared to the same
period of 2011.
2.
Parent company’s financial statements:
- Profit after tax of the parent company in Quarter 2/2012 was
–VND1,670,337,649 while profit in Quarter 2/2011 was –VND1,900,036,869. The
decrease in loss of the parent company is also thanks to the reasons above.
