Viet Nam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Company (VOSCO) has explained the business result in quarter 4/2011 as follows:

• Profit after tax in quarter 4/2011: 50,232,352,347 dongs
• Profit after tax in quarter 4/2010: 22,644,988,301 dongs
• Change: 221.8%
• Reasons: the company sold 02 vessels (an oil vessel and a dry vessel) because of restructuring the ship team and reducing the ineffective ships.

• Dai Viet Ship with 37,432DWT built in 2005 at Korea was sold on 15 Nov. 2011.
• Song Tien Dry Ship with 6,503DWT built 1984 at Japan was sold on 14 Dec. 2011.
