SEC: Explanation for business result in Q2/2012

Gia Lai Cane Sugar Thermoelectricity Joint Stock Company has explained the fluctuation in business result of Quarter 2/2012 compared to Quarter 2/2011:

Profit after tax in quarter 2/2012 was VND18.66 billion decreasing VND7.02 billion (-28%) compared to quarter 2/2011.

Reason:

- Financial expense increased leading profit decreased VND4.13 billion

- Tax  increased leading profit decreased VND1.75 billion

- Other factors decreased as financial revenue and sugar price went down making profit after tax in quarter 2/2012 decreased compared to the same period of last year.
