FPT: Business result in the first 6 months of 2012

FPT Corporation has informed of its profit and loss in the first 6 months of 2012:

• Revenue of FPT Group in the first 6 months of 2012 was VND11,465 billion.
• Profit before tax in the first 6 months of 2012 was VND1,205 billion.
• Profit after tax in the first 6 months of 2012 of parent company was VND753 billion increasing 6% compared to the same period of last year. EPS was VND2,788/ share.
• Telecommunications service industry: revenue was VND1,333 billion, profit was VND362 billion increasing 32% compared to the same period of last year.
• Online service industry: revenue was VND900 billion increasing 122%, profit was VND118 billion.
• Software development industry: revenue was VND914 billion increasing 15%, especially software export industry has revenue which increased over 30%.
• System integration industry: revenue was VND1,013 billion and profit was VND99 billion decreasing compared to the same period of last year.
• Information technology industry: revenue and profit increased 30% compared to the same period of last year.
• Distribution and manufacture of technology products industry: revenue was VND6,366 billion and profit was VND269 billion decreasing 3% compared to the same period of last year.
