MHC: The parent co. explains business results in quarter 1/2012

Hanoi Maritime Holding Company explained the parent company’s business results in quarter 1/2012 as follows:

-         Total revenue from sales, financial activities and others: 6,956,067,999 dongs

-         Profit in quarter 1/2012: 1,233,069,391 dongs

-         Profit in quarter 1/2011: 1,992,118,447 dongs

-         In quarter 1/2012, the company record over 2 bil. dongs which is the different amount after drawing capital from Hai An Stevedoring & Transportation Co. (*) into other expenses. Therefore, the financial income increased by 1.3 bil. dongs but the profit after tax decreased by 700 mil. dongs.
