MHC: Explanation for consolidated business results in quarter 2/2012

Hanoi Maritime Holding Company (MARINA HANOI) has explained consolidated business results in quarter 2/2012 compared to quarter 2/2011 as follows:

-         Total revenue, financial incomes and other incomes: 24,366,667,623 dongs

-         Loss of Quarter 2/2012: 2,745,458,904 dongs

-         Loss of Quarter 2/2011: 1,576,149,086 dongs

-         Business result in Quarter 2/2012 was higher than the same period of last year, mainly:

-         In quarter 2/2012 profit from associated company (Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company) was higher than the same period of last year. Therefore, Business result in Quarter 2/2012 of parent company loss 1 billion dongs but consolidated business result in quarter 2/2012 was higher than the same period of last year.
