VTF: Explanation for business results in quarter 2.2012

Viet Thang Aquafeed has explained profit before tax in quarter 2.2012 decreased 13.35 billion dongs or 21.35% beside quarter 2.2011 as follows:

-     Net Revenue in quarter 2.2012 increased 75.21 billion dongs compared with the last same year but cost of goods sold increased 87.26 billion dongs leading to gross profit decreased 12.05 billion dongs (-14.34%). Reason: raw material of product increased high while prices of finished product without a corresponding increase.

-   Financial expense in Quarter 2.2012 increased 6.89 billion dongs or 78.29% compared to the same period of last year. Therefore, profit after tax decreased.

-     General& Administrative expenses in Quarter 2.2012 decreased 7.21 billion dongs (or 59.63%) beside Quarter 2.2011. Therefore, profit before tax increased. Reason mainly in 2012 provision for doubtful debt was lower than the same period of 2011.
