Markets return to green
Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index curbed its four-day losing streak, rebounding slightly on July 26 though investors remained cautious.

Shares of 303 companies and six mutual funds listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange regained 0.46 percent, or 1.89 points, to close at 414.8 points.
Among the index members, 154 surged, 95 submerged, while 60 remained unchanged.
Trading on the city bourse dropped by 29 percent in volume, and by 41 percent in value over the previous trading session as more than 30.77 million shares changed hands at a total value of VND415.67 billion.
Tan Tao Investment Industrial Joint Stock Company (ITA) was the most active share in volume for a second day with 3.12 million shares changing hands.
Ocean Group Joint Stock Company (OGC) followed with 1.21 million shares.
Sacom Development & Investment Corporation (SAM) tagged along with 1.08 million shares traded.
Seaprodex Refrigeration Industry Corporation (SRF) and Binh Dinh Minerals Joint Stock Company (BMC) both enhanced 5 percent to close at VND27,300, and VND52,500 respectively.
HAI Agrochem Joint Stock Company (HAI) shot up 4.97 percent to close at VND19,000.
Thuan Thao Corporation (GTT) snapped its three-day losing run, recovering 4.92 percent to close at VND6,400.
IDICO Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company (HTI) declined 5 percent to close at VND7,600.
Rang Dong Plastic Joint Stock Company (RDP) went down 4.76 percent to close at VND10,000.
Godaco Seafood Joint Stock Company (AGD) dived 4.69 percent to close at VND42,700.
The VN30 Index - a free-float adjusted, market cap-weighted index of 30 stocks with the highest market value and liquidity on the exchange – restored 2.41 points, or 0.49 percent, to end at 490.78. Among its 30 members, 19 stocks rallied, 3 weakened, and 8 remained unmoved.
Hanoi’s HNX-Index of the smaller bourse in the north revived 0.59 percent, or 0.41 points, to close at 70.09 points with 162 winners, 70 losers, and 53 stocks treading water. Around 39.56 million shares changed hands at a total value of VND360.66 billion.
HNX 30 Index - the price index of top 30 stocks calculated based on free float adjusted market capitalization – reclaimed 1.01 percent, or 1.34 points, to finish at 133.42 points.
Meanwhile, the UPCoM-Index of unlisted shares resurrected 0.76 percent, or 0.28 points, to close at 37.36 points. A total of 588,630 shares changed hands at VND4.06 billion
