DCL: Explanation for business result in QI.2012

Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Corporation (PHARIMEXCO) explained the fluctuation in consolidated profit in Quarter I.2012 compared to Quarter I.2011 as follows:

-         Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter I.2012: VND3,132,966,066

-         Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter I.2011: VND14,887,006,494

-         The consolidated profit after tax in Quarter I.2012 decreased by VND11,754,040,428 (over 10%) compared to the consolidated profit after tax in Quarter I.2011 because the input raw materials was higher than the same period of last year and made cost of goods sold increased and gross profit decreased.
