ELC: Explanation for business result in Q4.2011

Electronics Communications Technology Investment Development Corporation explained the fluctuation in business result between Quarter 4.2011 as follows:

-         Profit after tax of parent company in Quarter 4.2011 was 75.77 billion dongs, Profit after tax of parent company in Quarter 4.2010 was 95.35 billion dongs. Decreased: 19.58 billion dongs, down 20.53%

-         Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter 4.2011 was 41.26 billion dongs, Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter 4.2010 was 88.49 billion dongs. Decreased 47.23 billion dongs, down 53.37%.

-         Profit after tax in Quarter 4.2011 was lower than Quarter 4.2010 mainly because revenue from services and sales decreased. Main reasons: economic difficulties, the Government continues to tighten monetary policy, inflation, market prices leading selling expenses, general & administrative expenses increase.
