SVS: Explanation for the change of over 10% in operating result in QIII.2011 compared to QIII.2010
According to the Financial Statement Quarter I/2012, profit after tax of Quarter I/2012 is VND1,492,274,322, with an increase year on year. Viet Star Securities Corporation explained the increase in operating result in Quarter I/2012 as follows:
- Total revenue of QI/2012 increased by VND1.31 million (equivalent 3.2%) compared to 2011. Due to the better signal of stock market, macroeconomic information, liquidity of the market increased, transaction volume and transaction value increased. Revenue from stock investment, capital contribution increased by VND1.3 billion (equivalent 171% compared to 2011)
- Total expenses of QI/2012 was VND2.68 billion, decreased by VND12.4 billion, equivalent 17.8% compared to QI/2011 due to decrease of operating expense and administration expense.
Operating expense of QI/2012 was VND72 million, decreased by VND11 billion because the company refunded the allowance for financial investment VND1.2 billion and the investment expense decreased by VND4 billion.
Administration expense of QI/2012 was VND2.6 billion, decreased VND1.4billion because the company saved general and administration expense and reduced the personnel from April of 2011
