Gold prices fall by VND300,000/tael

SJC gold was listed at VND44.22-44.42 million/tael in HCM City at 8.30am on March 7, down by VND300,000/tael compared to the previous transaction.

While in Hanoi, its selling price was a bit higher, hovering around VND44.44 million/tael.

At Techcombank and Sacombank, SJC gold was traded at VND44.22-44.42 million/tael. Eximbank’s buying price was VND44.32 million/tael.

In Asia, gold was transacted at US$1,678 per ounce.

In New York, the price of gold dropped by 2 percent against the previous transaction to US$1,674 per ounce, even to US$1,663.95 per ounce-a six-week record low.
