APC: Explanation for business result in Q4/2011 (consolidated)

An Phu Irradiation Joint - Stock Company has explained the fluctuation in business result of Quarter 4/2011 compared to Quarter 4/2010:

- Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2010: VND9,290,369,186

- Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2011: VND8,031,911,148

- Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2011 increased by 14% against to the same period of 2010:

Because dragon fruits exported in Quarter 4/2011 decreased 56.95% compared to the same period of 2010 (in Quarter 4/2011: 50.4 tones or VND3.293 billion).

Revenue from irradiated aquatic products in Quarter 4/2011 was VND24.665 billion (+60.52%) higher than Quarter 4/2010.

Financial expenses in Quarter 4/2011 was VND4.974 billion (include interest expenses and exchange rate differences) increasing 631% over Quarter 4/2010.

Total consolidated income in Quarter 4/2011 was VND35,587,629,446 increasing 47.05% against to the same period of 2010.
